Wedding Dance Lessons

We will choreograph a dance matching a song you and your fiancé choose. In addition, we will edit your music if necessary to fit a reasonable time limit and make it more danceable. We are knowledgeable dance instructors… wedding dance lessons are not our only business.

SHORT ON TIME?

· LESS THAN A MONTH

Option One: Crash Course taking three one-and-a-half hour lessons with at least one or two days between each lesson*:

$270 Total Price

Option Two: Pre-Bronze five lesson package taking two one-and-a-half hour lessons and two one hour lessons with at least one or two days in between each lesson*:

$300 Total Price

· LESS THAN TWO WEEKS

Option One: One or two lessons learning as much as time allows:

$60/hour lesson

Option Two: Crash Course taking three one-and-a-half hour lessons with at least one or two days between each lesson:

$270 Total Price

*It is very important to practice on your own between each lesson. You don’t really know how much you’ve learned until you try the moves without me there to correct or answer questions.

TIME & BUDGET NOT FIRST CONSIDERATIONS

The Bronze & Silver packages will provide ample time for those without dance experience to either learn a better than average routine or spend some time learning a few moves to some dances for reception dancing in addition to your first dance:

Bronze 6.5 hours $450

Silver 10 hours $600

The Gold package is best suited for multiple purposes such as father/daughter routine, mother/son routine, both parents wanting lessons for reception dancing and of course that “burn the floor” first dance routine requiring several weeks preparation:

Gold 22.5 hours $1,350

The package prices are all inclusive and cover everything in your choreography from walking onto the floor to the finish as well as any music edits required. The package hours quoted is actual private lesson time. There is no separate charge for time spent developing choreography or editing music.

The psychology of learning your wedding dance:

The goal for most couples is to feel confident and therefore comfortable as they perform their first dance so they can focus on their partner and enjoy that fun and special part of their wedding celebration. Some of the aspects that play a role in accomplishing that goal are prior dance experience of one or both partners, and the length and complexity of the dance choreography.

Even people who have prior dance experience or who are currently active dancers learn at differing paces. How quickly and how well couples learn a particular routine can't be guaranteed. However much like any other aspect of your wedding celebration the more time you spend in preparation the more enjoyment you will derive from the experience. If you are not sure about committing to one of the larger packages you can start small and upgrade if you wish.

To be reasonably successful at any given level you should prepare to complete the number of lessons in a respective package in the recommended time listed. If we determine that you have all the training necessary to accomplish your goal and you have time left over in your package those hours can be applied to private lessons to be taken at a later date.
